Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Bunkpost Booking Technologies, a division of Frog Byte, LLC(“Bunkpost,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information collected through this website, bunkpost.com (the “Site”). It covers the marketing site only; use of the Bunkpost application by campground operators, and bookings made on operators' booking pages, are governed by separate terms and the privacy practices described there.

What we collect

We collect only what you give us and what servers log by default:

• Contact form submissions— your name, email address, and anything you choose to include, such as your park's name and size.
• Email correspondence — messages you send to hello@bunkpost.com.
• Server logs — standard technical data recorded by our hosting infrastructure, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, used for security and to keep the Site running.
• Usage analytics — unless you opt out, Google Analytics collects pageview and device data as described in the Cookie Policy.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiries and provide support.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
• To send you information you've asked for. We don't add you to a marketing list just because you contacted us.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Site is used, and you can opt out at any time. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The full list of cookies, durations, and the opt-out control are in our Cookie Policy.

The Site is operated from the United States and its data is stored and processed there.

Service providers

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the Site — web hosting and email delivery. They process data on our behalf under their own contractual and security obligations, and only as needed to provide their service to us.

Data retention

We keep contact form submissions and correspondence for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and maintain a record of our communication, then delete them in the ordinary course of business. Server logs are retained on our hosting provider's standard rotation schedule.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to how we process it. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@bunkpost.com— we'll respond within 30 days. We will never discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

Children

The Site is a business tool for campground operators and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with an updated effective date. Material changes will be flagged prominently on the Site.
