Promo codes that count themselves

A promo code in Bunkpost is the whole machine, not just a discount: the code (letters, numbers, dashes), a percent off the subtotal or a flat amount off the total, an optional start and end date, and an optional cap on total uses. Guests type it on the booking page and watch the total drop before they pay — no “discount will be applied later” trust falls.

Promos — each code shows its discount, window, cap, and how many times it's been used.

Add-ons: the yes-pile at checkout

Add-ons are the easy extras — firewood bundle, early check-in, extra vehicle, s'mores kit — priced per stay or per night. Guests tick them at checkout and the price rides along in the same payment. They're consumables: no stock counts, no availability math, because you're not going to run out of early check-ins.

Add-ons — a price, a per-stay or per-night switch, and an active toggle. That's the whole form.

Rentals: real things that really run out

Rentals are different because you own four kayaks, not infinity kayaks. Each rental has a fleet size, and Bunkpost enforces it at the database level the same way it prevents double-bookings— when two guests grab the last kayak at the same instant, exactly one wins and the other is told the truth. Rentals can require their own waiver, generated as a PDF with the guest's signature.

“Add to your stay” — selling after the sale

Every guest's stay page has an “Add to your stay” box: firewood, rentals, late checkout — picked, paid by card, and confirmed without a phone call. The Thursday-night “can we get a golf cart for the weekend?” email becomes a transaction that happened while you were asleep.
